Trees have always been an important part of my life. Growing up in the East, massive oaks, maples, and a variety of others, including fruit trees – apple, cherry and pear – were always the object of my appreciation and awe. The majesty, the uniqueness of each, and their genuine beauty held my every fascination and relentless respect. When I was 6 years old, our pear tree was struck by lightning and it was devastating to me. When our apple tree no longer bore good fruit, I was the kid in our household who noticed and felt a sense of loss. I take pictures of trees the way some people take pictures of art objects. I appreciate a good tree.

So, it is only natural that as I started my business it would involve something I view as precious – a tree. Brands are the personality of a business. That’s why it is important to keep a brand strong, from the roots up, and to make sure it is cared for and nurtured, and that there is a constant vigilance to brand threats. This ensures the brand’s health…not unlike a tree. Yet lightning does strike and sometimes a brand is hit out of nowhere. And, there are times when the fruit is less than sweet or there is no more fruit at all. Sometimes brands can withstand those times. Others, that are less hearty, cannot. However, a strong brand can not only recover, but find a way to (excuse the fruit tree pun) make lemonade out of the lemons.

BrandTree was founded for all kinds of organizations who want to care for and nurture their brand, so it can withstand the many seasons of life. Finding someone to care for your brand, your tree, will help you nurture, grow and guide it as it thrives and blossoms. It is quite possibly the best thing you can do if you care about your organization’s growth and success. Welcome to BrandTree.
